Application:

1. BOPP Normal Film; used for printing industry, adhesive tape film industry

BOPP ordinary film (flat film, light film) is suitable for printing and compounding of food packaging, paper compounding and general packaging. It is the most widely used variety in BOPP products. It is widely used in all kinds of printing and compounding products for packaging of various foods and articles. In the consumption of optical film, tape film occupies a large proportion, and its production characteristics are large output, simple process and low technical requirements.

2. BOPP thermal sealing film is divided into two kinds: one-sided thermal sealing film and two-sided thermal sealing film. It is a polypropylene thermal sealing film (BOPP thermal sealing film) made by biaxial stretching of heat sealing masterbatch on the surface. It is mainly used in the thermal sealing packaging of food, medicine and electrical components. BOPP heat sealing film is not only hot sealing, but also printable. What's the difference between a hot laminating film and a cold laminating film?

The adhesive on a "hot" laminating film activates when the printed graphic is run through a hot-roll laminator at temperatures between 210 and 240 degrees. Because these high levels of heat can damage some types of inkjet graphics, "low-melt" or "heat-assist" films are also used. "Low melt" films have heat-activated adhesives that can applied at 185 to 195 degrees. "Heat assist" films have pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) and liners and are applied with hot-roll laminators at 185 to 195 degrees.

"Cold" laminating films have a more aggressive adhesive that can be applied with pressure, instead of heat. A release liner protects the adhesive until it ready to applied, typically on a cold-roll laminator. Cold laminating films typically cost more than hot laminating films, but they can be applied using less costly, easier-to-operate non-heated laminators.

Cold roll laminators are also used for laying down adhesive films in the sign-making industry, for example mounting a large print onto a board. A practiced operator can apply a large adhesive sheet in a fraction of the time it takes to do so by hand.

 

 

 

While a machine can make lamination easier and quicker, it is possible to laminate paper at home without one. You'll need some type of thin, transparent plastic - either self-adhesive or self-laminating sheets, synthetic paper or even transparent packing tape can do in a pinch
